At Royal Wendy Brook Persians, we are committed to ensuring that every Persian kitten finds a loving, forever home. We understand that circumstances can change, and we have policies in place to address various situations.

Deposit Policy

Non-Refundable Deposits

All deposits paid to reserve a Persian kitten are non-refundable. This policy is in place because:

  • We turn away other potential adopters when you reserve a kitten
  • We invest time and resources in preparing your kitten for adoption
  • Deposits help ensure serious commitment from adopters

Deposit Transfer

In certain circumstances, we may allow you to transfer your deposit to a different kitten from a current or future litter. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Full Payment Refunds

Before Kitten Delivery

If you have paid in full but have not yet received your kitten, refunds may be available in the following situations:

  • Health Issues: If the kitten develops a serious health condition before delivery, you may receive a full refund or choose a different kitten
  • Our Cancellation: If we are unable to fulfill the adoption for any reason, you will receive a full refund

After Kitten Delivery

Once you have received your kitten, refunds are generally not available. However, we offer:

  • Health Guarantee: Coverage for congenital and hereditary conditions as outlined in your adoption contract
  • Return Option: If you can no longer care for the kitten, we will accept the kitten back (no refund, but we ensure the kitten finds a new home)

Health Guarantee Claims

Our health guarantee covers specific congenital and hereditary conditions. To make a claim:

  1. Contact us immediately upon diagnosis
  2. Provide veterinary documentation of the condition
  3. Allow us to review the case with our veterinarian
  4. Follow the remedy outlined in your adoption contract (replacement kitten, partial refund, or veterinary expense coverage)

Shipping Costs

Shipping and transportation costs are non-refundable unless we are unable to deliver the kitten due to our own circumstances.

Return Process

If you need to return a kitten to us:

  • Contact us as soon as possible to discuss the situation
  • Provide the kitten's health records and any relevant information
  • Arrange transportation (costs typically borne by the adopter)
  • Sign a return agreement

Note: Returns do not result in refunds, but we appreciate being given the opportunity to find the kitten a new home.

We evaluate each situation individually and may make exceptions to this policy in extraordinary circumstances. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
